“In august 2016 I did a residency in Galicnik, Macedonia on invitation by Ana Frangovska, curator of the National Gallery of Macedonia in Skopje. In this period of my life everything changed: my love life, home, work and my art. During the residency we went to celebrate the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ together with the local people. Although I am an Atheist it was a night I will never forget. My life was in transit and I tried to capture this process in images. And so a new series was born and I as a person was reborn.”
